The technical issue plaguing IDM.utsa.edu has been resolved.
Faculty and staff are welcomed to use the service to change their password and updated their network login credentials.

The Identity Management Web site is down. The Office of Information Technology's Unix team is working to correct the problem.

Phishing Alert: "Validate Your Mailbox"

UTSA faculty and staff members are receiving e-mail messages with a Subject line of 'Validate Your Mailbox.'
This e-mail did not originate from the UTSA Office of Information Technology. It is a phishing e-mail - an attempt to get you to reveal personally-identifiable information.
If you click on the link in the message and reveal the information requested, you may become a victim of identity theft and/or compromise the UTSA network.
If you have received this e-mail message, or one similar to it, please delete it immediately.
If you have questions about the validity of any e-mail message, please contact OIT Support Services, 458-5538.

Faculty/Staff Use Network ID for Blackboard

Faculty and Staff: On August 19, 2010, the Blackboard login procedure will change. You will now use your UTSA network ID (abc123) and network password to log in to Blackboard.
