Blackboard Student Forgot Password
Reset Password Over the Internet
Go to https://bb.utsa.edu/webct/logonHelp.dowebct and follow the instructions below.
In the e-mail text box, enter the e-mail address associated with your Bb account (My Profile) and click OK.
Under your secret question, enter the answer exactly as you entered it when you set up your account and click OK.
If you entered an incorrect answer, re-enter the answer and click Try Again.
If you entered the correct answer, your user name and a new password have been sent to the e-mail associated with your account.
Click OK.
Log in to your e-mail associated with your Bb account (My Profile) and retrieve your login information.

Request a password reset by contacting the OITConnect at 210.458.5555 or by submitting an online request.

Your Full name (first, middle, and last)
Course number
Course Section number
Instructor Name
Indicate if you're currently enrolled in a Blackboard course or not.
DO NOT send your Banner User ID.
DO NOT send your Social Security Number.
Reset Bb Password in Person
To have your Blackboard password reset in person you can visit the following locations on campus.
Note: You must show your UTSA ID Card.

Visit the Student Computing Services website for their hours of operation.
Password Security
To protect your privacy and keep confidential information from disclosure make sure that no one other than you can log into your Blackboard course.
Never share your Bb ID with someone else. Keep your password confidential.
It allows you and you alone to access exams, check grades, or send emails on your name.
Never allow any computer to remember your password. DO NOT select the "Save this password in your password list" check box.
