Data Center
The UTSA Data Center provides a secure and environmentally controlled center for many of the systems critical to the university’s operations. The data center also provides space for departmental servers or research computer systems.
The data center is equipped with HVAC units, a main UPS unit which supplies conditioned power to the data center, and generator power. Personnel are also the first line of security in the center. Personnel monitor and update access lists to ensure only authorized personnel gain access to the facility. Visitors are required to show proof of identification before they are allowed access.
The Data Center is staffed Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. If would like additional information concerning data center services, please contact the Data Center supervisor at (210) 458-5555.
