How Does This Affect Me?

UTSA Faculty and Staff Faculty and Staff

  • OIT will provide more robust support for Apple users.

  • Users will receive Mac support from staff who have received specialized Mac training. 

  • Users will also have access to a robust Mac help area on the OIT website that includes tutorials, a UTSA Mac blog and a Mac mailing list.

  • Mac users will now be able to become full members of the UTSA network. The benefits include:

    • Login to your Mac using your “abc123” credentials - one less ID and password to remember,

    • Access your network storage files or your e-mail without logging in a second time,

    • Receive help remotely without having to have a technician visit you,
