Access to Applications Anywhere - myUTSA Apps

How Does This Affect Me?

UTSA Students Students

  • Students will be able to access numerous popular software applications from anywhere on campus and some applications from home.

  • Students will no longer be required to go to a computer lab, but instead can access some of the software applications from a home computer.

  • By having off-campus access to applications, students will not necessarily have to purchase them, and will ultimately save money.

Changes That Will Affect the UTSA Community

  • Students are now able to access some applications from off-campus locations.

  • Students, faculty, and staff will be able to request (at no cost to them) new applications added to the list of applications at myApps.utsa.edu. OIT will review the request and follow up on licensing and installation.
