Outdoor Pursuits is here to provide you with new activity skills and to guide you to a view of broader horizons. Outdoor Pursuits consists of the equipment lending program, an adventure trips program, and the Rockwall. Our trips program leads adventures on water, trail, rock and snow. Our staff is highly trained in outdoor skills and group leadership to help you achieve more than you might think possible. From surfing, backpacking and rock climbing to caving, canoeing and whitewater kayaking, we run a busy schedule of organized trips that cater to participants of all skill levels with pre-trip skills instruction and on-trip supervised practice.

Our equipment lending program in the Outdoor Resource Center has a free lending program where you can checkout equipment and go on adventures of your own! We can cater to all of your camping needs with gear ranging from tents and stoves to canoes and backpacks. Come by the ORC and see all that we have to offer.

The UTSA Rockwall is also run by the Outdoor Pursuits staff. Come climb the Rockwall, we have all the gear and all you need is your student ID. Start climbing today and be ready for Climbapalooza and the On-Site climbing competitions that are held at the Rockwall!
