Downtown Campus Tours
The Visitor Center invites prospective students and their families to visit the Downtown Campus and take a guided walking tour of the campus. Admissions presentations and tours are provided by Student Admissions Officers. Transfer Specialists are located on the downtown campus and are available on a walk-in basis Monday -Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm and on Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon to address questions regarding transferring to UTSA. (Walk-in hours are subject to change, please call ahead of time on the day of your visit to ensure a Transfer Specialist is availabile at 458-2000).
UTSA Downtown Campus Tour Schedule
Monday through Friday: 2:00 p.m. Admissions presentations are available before the tour.
- All tours depart promptly from the Visitor Center located in the Frio Building Room 1.528

- Parking: Visitor parking is available on the top level of the parking garage (Rate: $1.75/hour).
- Tours are not offered on major Holidays or Saturdays
Guidance or Outreach counselors and Special Program Coordinators
These campus tours are intended for individuals, family, and friends interested in visiting UTSA. Guidance counselors, outreach counselors, and special program coordinators please DO NOT schedule group tours from this site. Special groups, high schools, and outreach program tours are scheduled by appointment through the Visitor Center at 210.458.2000. The P-20 Office is now in charge of all middle school and elementary group tours. Please contact them at 210.458.2769 to set-up a visit.
UTSA Downtown Campus Walking Tour
Tours take place Monday through Friday at 2:00 p.m. and last approximately 30-45 minutes. When a Visit Friday is scheduled with the College of Architecture or College of Public Policy the event takes place after the tour at 3:00 pm)

"Destination: UTSA Downtown" Event
Destination: UTSA Downtown allows prospective students interested in the degree programs offered through the College of Architecture and College of Public Policy an opportunity to:
- Take a tour of the UTSA Downtown Campus
- Attend an information session which includes: an overview of the College of Architecture or the College of Public Policy with a professor, learn about the importance of academic advising and find out about careers related to architecture or public policy from the University Career Center
- Explore the Architecture Studios or the Forensics Lab depending on your major of interest
